Congratulations to the DU Pioneers' Six Sigma Development team for winning the 2014 NAIOP Real Estate Challenge.  The 2014 challenge involved redevelopment of the East Main Street corridor in downtown Parker.  Six Sigma's plan, "Connection @ Main St." contained a thoughtful, vibrant, and cohesive land use plan, imaginative and viable financing solutions, and apparent community synergies in conjunction with the planned Douglas County Library and Parker's general development plans.

Both finalists from the University of Colorado and the University of Denver brought incredible, creative, and insightful ideas to the competition, but DU impressed the judges - and took home the trophy and scholarships through NAIOP's annual challenge.

Newcastle VP, Ben Kurtz, is a proud DU Alumnus, and expressed that he had little doubt the alma mater would attain victory again this year!
